This past weekend was filled with mother-daughter bonding time, holiday style. First up was a trip to the 5th Avenue theater to see Cinderella, then a bit of shopping downtown, where a quick trip to Tiffany ended with free coffees and Tiffany shaped cookies. Afterwards we headed back to my apartment where a yummy dinner awaited us in the crock pot (recipe to come soon). At night, we took a leisurely stroll along the Green Lake loop for the Pathway of Lights, where the path was lit up with candles and groups of people decked out in Christmas lights sang Christmas carols and chatted with friends. Back at the apartment, we made my favorite Christmas cookies (in our Christmas jammies) and ended the evening falling asleep to a movie. We woke up bright and early for a long day of Christmas shopping before mom headed back home (and I headed for a nap). It was a perfect holiday weekend with my favorite lady :)
